Baked Pork Chops and Noodles
Serves 4.
Ingredients:
4 pork chops
2 (16 ounce) cans tomatoes
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1 bay leaf
1 (8 ounce) package noodles
4 thin onion slices
8 green bell pepper strips
Preparation:
Trim excess fat from the pork chops and brown both sides. Drain them on absorbent paper.
Combine the next seven ingredients.
Place the dry noodles in a 2−quart baking dish, pour tomato mixture over and place the pork chops on top.
Place onion slices and green pepper strips and cover. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
Remove the cover and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the pork chops are tender. Remove the Pork chops, cut into bite sized pieces and mix the pieces with the noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions.
Serve in a bowl and enjoy!
